All too often I hear clients and friends say how much they struggle to switch off. Quietening the mind is difficult when we juggle a busy life… kids, chores, work etc.
The result is a constant stream of inner ‘chatter’ that unknowingly raises our adrenaline (stress) levels, wreaks havoc with our hormones, sleep patterns and general health.
Our brain is just like a muscle – it needs training and discipline. Focusing and quietening your mind is a skill. It takes conscious effort and practice.
